Green Commander Islands and Waste Museum

The Green Commander Islands project targets all sorts of dangerous wastes, such as fishing gear, batteries, lamps, plastics and many more. To speak about this issue freely and creatively we have created a small Waste Museum in our visitor center. The exhibits are constructed of waste found on Bering Island (the major island of the group) and show alternatives of how it can be recycled and why recycling is a good idea.
